Dennis Hines
Dennis is a T&D stations specialist with over 35 years of experience with Ontario Hydro and Hydro One prior to joining PNXA. He has a broad range of equipment related experience which includes 25 years of field work and supervision of trade's staff, plus over 10 years in Hydro One's asset management (AM) organization. In recent years he held a leadership role in the business planning and work prioritization processes for T&D stations, supported and led several equipment failure investigations, developed new and revised equipment maintenance work standards, strategies and processes, performed station & equipment level condition health assessments and provided scope development and business case justification for his portfolio of various T&D station / equipment replacement and refurbishment projects and programs.

- Co-authored over 330 make / model specific preventive maintenance work standards for power, ancillary, infrastructure and environment related T&D stations equipment with ratings up to 500 kV / 1000 MVA
- Authored corporate operational policy and procedural guide for managing and conducting equipment failure investigations
- Developed inspection and maintenance strategies and guidelines for operating spare power equipment and strategic reserve renewal parts & components
