- Represent the trading organisation’s interests with the generation portfolio, the risk monitor (mid office), the settlements function (back office), the regulator, the market operator, the transmitter and others.

- Managed the specification, design, development, testing and commissioning of a computer model for economically scheduling, within security criteria, the generation resources for a 30,000 MW power system for a seven day rolling period.
- Lead a project team of six professionals including mathematicians, operations research specialists, engineers and programmers (ten man years spread over two years).
